We are a diverse bunch of people ranging in age from 8 months to eighty something, and you will find a warm and friendly welcome, contemporary worship led by great musicians, a relaxed and informal space and some very tasty coffee!
We will be at Sizewell Hall from Friday evening, 4th May, to Sunday afternoon, 6th May.
If you have been before, you’ll know how special these times are together. If you haven’t been before, you’re in for a treat. We have a guest speaker, wonderful food, activities for the children, times of prayer and very enriching free time when we can relax and have fun together.
Framlingham Community Baptist Church aims to bring you to a closer relationship to Jesus. No matter where you are on your spiritual journey, you can grow in your understanding of Christianity. Your children will be cared for by the Youth Workshop team and the messages are aimed at showing just how relevant Jesus is to everyday living.
What should I wear?
Casual clothes are generally worn by everyone. Our services are very informal and we want you feel comfortable and at ease as you share in the worship.
How long does the service last?
The Sunday service at Framlingham Community Baptist Church lasts about an hour. There will be a chance to meet people after the services and enjoy a cup of tea or coffee.
What will the service be like?
On Sundays, services include contemporary hymns, and bible based teaching.
Will I have to say anything, sign anything, give anything?
No to all these questions. At Sunday service, you’ll never be put on the spot, singled-out, or embarrassed. There will be a chance to make an offering during the service, and as a visitor you are not expected to make any donation.
What about my kids – do they come into the service with me or is there something going on for them?
Children leave during the service to go to their own Youth Workshop meeting. This allows both them and you to get the most from your time at Framlingham Community Baptist Church.
What time does the service start?
The Sunday service begins at 10.45a.m. each week at St Michael’s Rooms, located near the Castle. Tea and freshly ground coffee, soft drinks and biscuits are served free after the service.
At Framlingham Community Baptist Church we seek to follow Christ's example of loved expressed in service - to one another, to our local community and the wider world. Serving is about making ourselves and resources freely available in response to human need. As a church community we're seeking to do this in a number of ways, locally and globally, and we are always open to fresh ways God brings to our notice in which we can express His love.
