Ben Plant reads Andrew Fairweather’s talk about Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego refusing to bow down to the gold statue and enduring the fiery furnace. (Andrew’s village had no power at the time of our service!)
Amongst other vital messages, it gives us a model for how to behave when others are doing something that goes against God’s laws -quiet resistance/refusal, rather than shouting protest at what others are doing.
