Sights - Mark 10:46-52 and John 1:1-5

Edith focusses on ‘Sight to the Blind’ in this sermon. She first ponders on the healing of blind Bartimaeus, pointing out that Jesus not only physically healed Bartimaeus, but also spiritually.
As John’s gospel begins, Jesus came to be ‘light in the darkness’, so we too are here to bring light to people in darkness and to live in the light of God day by day.
