This talk was in three sections and includes discussions in groups and some feedback from the congregation.
Beth asks us to consider two sets of questions, one based on verse 1 and one on verse 2: Questions file.
Using other psalms as examples, she shows us that, despite life’s difficulties and when we are in great distress, even then, if we focus on God, we will have our trust in His ability to work it all for good enlarged and be more able to cope with what life throws at us.
She then suggests we celebrate with musical instruments, as the remainder of the psalm exhorts.
