Jo begins by giving the historical context for the book of Acts, and saying that the Holy Spirit is mentioned 56 times in the book, but only 33 in all four gospels! She encourages us to continue being refreshed, refilled and receiving what the Holy Spirit, who we received at our conversion, offers us -empowerment, strength, guidance, understanding of God’s word, power in prayer and a desire to share the Good News with others (and many more); the latter in particular. She quotes Acts 1:8 “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”
At around 14 minutes there is a short break (shortened by the editor) in which the congregation were reflecting and allowing God’s Spirit to refill them.
