Gale, our EBA Regional Minister, came from Ely to encourage us to trust God.
She mentioned the Baptist Union’s aims for its churches, which includes ‘Embrace Adventure’ and encouraged us to take risks in life to follow where God is leading us. She used the example of both Ruth and Naomi in taking a risk on Boaz and on God’s provision for them. Using many examples of preparation rituals (e.g. for baptism or marriage) she said we should prepare ourselves so that we are ready to go on God’s adventure for us.
