Hope of the Journey - Luke 2:1-7

Ben first explained the meaning of Advent -Coming or Arrival. He then gave three points shown in these slides:
1. Only God can fulfil our hopes and dreams -saying waiting is not wasted, it is when we learn
2. The Journey may be difficult – quoted from Avengers film ‘Part of the journey is the end’
3. Hope appears in unexpected places – a stable, for instance! – and to the ordinary ones (e.g. Mary and shepherds)
