Advent 1: Comfort for God’s People - Isaiah 40:1-11

Ken tells us how the church over the centuries has regarded Advent, both looking forward to the birth of Jesus, and God being with us, but also to His coming again. It is a time of comfort, that God is coming to save His people. So we need to prepare ourselves with purer and more spiritual lives.
