Andrew suggests the title Alpha and Omega, first and last letters of the Greek alphabet, indicates God has the whole alphabet of history. In contrast, needing a purpose in life, humans fill the vacuum of the modern world with their own ideas, based on just a few letters of the alphabet -the bits of history they know and understand- and this gives rise to such as Nazism and Marxism. As Christians we also only have a few letters (we don’t know or understand everything), but we know God who does, and we trust Him. Follow his key bible references in this slideshow.
