Mike focuses on Jesus’s urging to become like a little child. He reminds us that God delights in us as a father for His children.
He explores the disciples’ relationship to Jesus, each of them different, and the transformation that happened when God’s Spirit fell on them. Some disciples left -will we?
He mentions 1 Corinthians 6:19 -that our bodies are temples of God’s Spirit, so we need to sort out what’s inside us first, citing the examples of King David (Psalm 51) and the fruit that comes from the Spirit’s work in us (Galatians 5:22).
