Of course, we know this -Jesus is the Sower, or God’s people are, and God’s word or the message of salvation is the Seed. But Ken says we can’t just dismiss this parable as known, we need to learn from it:
-We need to have our story (testimony) ready for when people ask
-We need to understand that a person hearing the good news of Jesus isn’t enough and not all will believe when we speak of Him. We shouldn’t be discouraged, after all it happened to Jesus a lot!
-We need to look in our own lives for where the soil is poor, rocks are in the way and weeds are choking God’s words to us and preventing us from growing in faith, as He would like us to.
