Andy begins by answering questions about his return to preaching, after a break, then goes through some historical evidence for Jesus’ existence and crucifixion.
He then considers the responses of several people who witnessed the event -what did they make of it?
1. The Roman guards -another working day
2. The other criminals crucified with Jesus -each with different responses
3. The Roman Centurion -recognising Jesus was different from the usual criminals
4. The crowds – often watched public executions and despaired
5. The disciples, including the women – devastated, but later they were transformed!
Finally he asks what is our response to Jesus.
