How can I have faith? - Hebrews 11:1-13a
By Neville Jephcote on 26 October 2025 at Morning Service on Zoom with Communion
Neville begins by reading part of Hebrews 11.
He then gives us some definitions of faith, leading him to the word ‘hope’, which is also used in Hebrew to mean ‘a rope’ -so like a lifeline to tie us to whatever we trust and have hope in.
He goes through some things people choose to have faith/trust/hope in, showing how all will fail at some point, but faith and hope in God is for now and for the future and he won’t fail us. It is a gift He gives us when we spend time with Him (the challenge!).
