Ben makes three points:
1 Paralysis -examples, such as ‘paralysed by fear’ or by sin or physically, but good friends can help us through
2 Treatment -medical interventions are a great help, but remember God made us how he wants us to be
3 Healing -physically, God may, but he specializes in healing us from our sin through the forgiveness Jesus brings and the consequent change in our lives
He asks us to consider where we are paralysed -is it the thought of change? are we in addiction? We need to be ready for God to heal us.
