Charity begins by reading from Genesis 2 and 3 about the onset of shame and fear from Adam and Eve’s sin. She links this to the shame and fear we feel when we sin, as did the woman brought to Jesus in the temple courts in John 8; we often wear what she calls ‘the grey cloak of shame’.
She notes that Jesus didn’t condemn the woman, but told her to ‘go and sin no more’. We can let Jesus take off our grey cloak of shame and bring light and life into our lives and lead us out of the way of sin.
Charity sings two of her songs in this talk, ‘Let the words dance’ and ‘The mirror always lies’, and I have left in just tiny  samples of both.
She ends with a prayer to start the journey to follow Jesus. Maybe this is just the time for you to say that prayer?
