Sue asks us to imagine being one of the disciples listening to Jesus speak after the Passover supper-with-a-difference you have just eaten with Him. He then speaks words that are incomprehensible to you, and both scary and comforting.
Using these slides she reminds us that Jesus is telling us His Spirit will continue to be with us and beside us, helping us (for the disciples, just as Jesus did) and revealing the truth to us.
She challenges us to inner obedience to God as well as outer. We need to allow Him to change us inside and heal the brokenness that limits our walk with Christ and witness to Him.
She recommends the book ‘Emotionally Healthy Church’ by Peter Scazzero.
