Mike explains that Jesus is making the point that prayer is about engaging with our Father/Daddy in a secret place, rather than praying down a list; it is about relationship, it is a conversation with God. Jesus also gives us a template, like a window through which we can see how to pray, and then explains each statement in what we call ‘The Lord’s Prayer’. This talk is longer than the usual at 45 minutes, so get a cuppa and sit back to take it all in -very worthwhile.
