The recording begins with the reading of Ephesians 1:3-14.
Mike contrasts this world where (in the West, anyway) everything must be rational, logical and wysiwyg, where everything must be proved, but you can’t prove a relationship. Everyone longs for a relationship and that is what we are given with God, through the Holy Spirit, who is described from the start to the end of the bible, and this gives our lives meaning.
If we have believed in Jesus, God’s Spirit is with us wherever we go and whatever we do; he still rescues us even when our minds go. However, we need to check ourselves in the way a truck driver checks his truck before leaving on a long journey.
